Happy [Late] Father's Day

Alright, I know I'm over a week late but I have good reasons I'll blog about later. Sunday June 15th was Father's Day. I love my dad, and, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever written a post about him. Well, here it goes.
What can I say that would do justice to my dad? He's always worked so hard, ever since I can remember he's worked hard to provide for our family. Despite that, he's never accepted a job that would take him away from church or us. That's what makes him a great dad more than anything else, his commitment to God before anything else. That's actually what got us to where we are now. If my dad hadn't been committed to prayer and Bible study and listening to God's voice I don't know where we'd be now. God put us where we are, I'm not trying to take away from that at all, but God used my dad in tremendous ways. Now that we've been here for about a year and a half, I've gotten to see my dad mature and grow in so many ways. He's a great pastor, he really cares about the people. He's actually our right now, 3:25 on Monday afternoon, visiting some members of our church who are in the hospital. As much as he loves the people, he cares even more about faithfully preaching the Word of God. That's his number one priority and for that I'm so thankful. It might seem that all this would take away from us, his family, but he does a great job of balancing. I love my dad, God gave me him and I'm so thankful.

This does a great deal of justice to your Dad, Chelsea. You have a way with words that sometimes I marvel at. Your blog seems to be blessed by God through you Thank you for keeping it up.
